DIRECT-INTO-TANK FILLING OF VEHICLES AND VESSELS For Vehicles and Vessels Registered in Negara Brunei Darussalam
5. How much Gasoline or Diesel can I purchase for my vehicle at the retail station?
You are allowed to purchase up to one full tank, which in any case should not exceed 250 litres.
6. What if my car has two fuel tanks, can I fill up both tanks?
Yes, provided the fuel tanks are originally fitted by the manufacturer and the total amount filled does not exceed 250 litres.
7. How much Gasoline and Diesel can I purchase directly into the tank of my vessel or boat?
Brunei registered vessels and boats are allowed to purchase up to a maximum of 1,000 liters at riverine stations but subject to the following:- a) Purchases are limited to Brunei Darussalam’s Identity Card holders only; b) Purchases by vessels used in the shipping/ferry business should be made at BSM commercial bunkering facilities. Note: Brunei Darussalam Identity Card Holders are those holding Yellow, Red or Green coloured identity cards issued by the Immigration and National Registration Department of Brunei Darussalam.
8. Can I use cash to purchase petroleum products for my commercial vehicles and vessels?
Payments for purchases of petroleum products for commercial vehicles and vessels must be made using Fleetcard approved by the Authority .
