ADDITIONAL DIRECTIVE (I)
ON SALES OF DIESEL AND MOTOR GASOLINE
PREMIUM 97 TO VEHICLES AND VESSEL NOT REGISTERED IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
DIESEL and
GASOLINE are subsidised petroleum products and their export is
restricted under the Customs (prohibition and
restriction on Imports and Exports) Order.
As part of the efforts of the
Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei
Darussalam to ensure the sales of petroleum products are continually
controlled, the Energy Division of the Prime Minister’s office hereby
announces the following steps with effect from today:-

Vehicles and vessels
not registered in Brunei Darussalam will only be allowed to buy at
designated petrol stations with the following quantity:
a.
DIESEL at
a maximum amount of B$6 per day; and
b.
MOTOR
GASOLINE PREMIUM 97 at a maximum amount of B$10 per day:

Sales of MOTOR
GASOLINE of REGULAR 85 and MOTOR GASOLINE SUPER 92 shall not to be
sold to vehicles and vessels not registered in Brunei Darussalam.
